Autoworld Diecast Model Cars

Autoworld Die-Cast Cars Reviews

If you collect model cars, take a peek at these Autoworld Diecast scale cars by Autoworld. I have picked some of my very favorites which are showcased here. How to clean a die-cast model car is discussed here as well.

AutoWorld began its days in Scranton, PA by Oscar Koveleski in 1958. He started a small mail order hobby business out of his basement. It became popular for its annual product catalogs. Car model enthusiasts could order any type of car models and parts via this catalog and it continued to grow in popularity.

In 1994 Thomas E. Lowe purchased the rights to the Auto World mark to continue providing top quality die cast cars that are fun to display, collect and play with.

I’ve chosen some of my favorites from The Auto World Store to feature here. Car enthusiasts and collectors would love to receive these as gifts for birthdays, Christmas and other occasions.

If you enjoy model cars, then you have come to the right place!

How to clean diecast model cars

Caring for your die cast cars is going to be an important part of collecting. If you properly clean and store your cars, they’ll last longer and look new no matter how long you’ve had them.

Do your best to not have to get your cars wet. In some cases this is unavoidable. If they do get wet, dry them with a soft, dry cloth then place them in front of a fan to take away any remaining moisture.

To keep cars free of dust simply dust them regularly with a soft, dry cloth. If heavy dust is in crevices you can use tweezers, being careful not to scratch off any paint. A makeup sponge will gently wipe dirt and debris off of your models, as well.

If possible store them in a glass display case or keep them in their original package for ultimate protection.
