Baby and Toddler Toys

Baby and Toddler Toys

I’ve had a toddler in the past and I have a current toddler now. I’m up to date and current with the best baby and toddler toys.

We still have tons of them around the house. We’ve sold a few and we’ll be buying more in the near future. Even when we box some of them up our children always want to open it back up and play with them again!

We always talk about selling some in a yard sale but we just can’t seem to pry them away.

There are tons of toys for this age group to consider. There are music one’s, push and pull one’s, stuffed animals, indoor climbers and stacking one’s.

There are many benefits to these types of toys including tons of fun for your kids and also that they’ll gain gross motor skills from playing with many of them.

Musical Toys For Toddlers

Babies Too!

Musical toys for toddlers help young children develop an appreciation for music and it’s just plain fun to do.

My toddlers loved playing the drums and also playing with toys which make music and sounds.

Many of these help them learn the alphabet and their numbers.

My kids once owned the flashing drum and it’s fun to play with.

Push and Pull Toys

Remember When You Similar One’s When You Were Young?

The push and pull toys are classics! I had them when I was a baby in the mid to late 1970′s and my babies and toddlers have them today. My girls still play with a push and pull train which makes noises. It works great on the carpet or kitchen floors.

They promote gross motor skill development and they sometimes make noise which children love.

Do you have one of these in your house or have you before? Which one? Leave me a comment in the guestbook down below.

My Kids Still Use One of These

Can you guess which one of these my children still play with?

They still play with the train! You can ride on it and it makes noises and music.

Not only that but there are tons of plastic blocks with letters on them and when you put one in the slot it says the letter and something associated with the letter. Lots of fun!

Stuffed Toy Animals

We Have Tons of These In The House!

Every parent knows about stuffed animals. Every child probably has around 20 stuffed animals. They may only play with one or two at a time but if you discuss giving some away they immediately start playing with those. You know what I mean righ?

When I was a kid I remember having boxes filled with them and finally in or after college I remember giving my parents the okay to give them away.

They provide lots of memories for kids and they are interactive and imaginative.

My kids have a little climber and slide like this and they play on it all the time. Even my four year old played on this.

It’s just plain fun to climb on your own…play at the top for a while and then slide down to the bottom.

We have pictures and video of our kids doing it because it’s always a joyful time.

This is the best climber out there today on Amazon.

Best Stacking and Nesting Toys For Kids

Classics!

Some of these stacking toys are classics!

Haven’t we all had the multi-colored rings in our homes at one point or another?

Do you have memories as a child playing with these? I sure do.

Which of these is your favorite?

I can testify that these can really help with the development of your child.
