Barbie Has 2 Townhouses!
That’s the life of a rich and famous Barbie doll! Barbie has a very glamorous lifestyle and her Barbie Townhouse homes reflect that. She has some of the plushest pads ever seen in dolls houses.

This page will show you in detail each and every room in her house, from the furniture that comes with the house to the accessories that go with the furniture. If you love Barbie then you will love her two townhouses. Kids love to play with these great play sets and with so many different fun parts your daughter will have many hours of entertainment playing and inviting her friends over with their dolls to visit her town house.

This town house is just one of the many styles of homes that Barbie owns but are one of my favorites. In fact Barbie has owned a townhouse for decades. The first one was released in the early 1970′s and was a huge toy back then for girls.

The house has always been big (in size as well as popularity) and there have been several models released over the years with slight differences. Sometimes it would be the wallpaper that changed or some other small detail. The basic 3 foot model always remained pretty true to the original (up until the latest release) and it has always had an elevator!

This is the Barbie Pink Townhouse. There are in fact two townhouses, one is pink and the other is a different shade of pink! Barbie loves buying houses so much that she often buys them in bulk it seems, just to have a different shade of pink to look at every now and again.

You can see from the image here that the townhouse playset has a lot of great furniture and accessories that little girls and collectors will love! Below we will take a look in detail at the different rooms in the house.

One of the things that is loved about these townhouses is the elevator, which has been a constant in every townhouse Barbie has owned.

Barbie’s Pink townhouse is a large playset at just over 3 feet in height. Perfect for playing with and has 5 rooms that come complete with furniture.

Another great feature of this house is the working lights and sounds. The doorbell actually rings and you can hear the sound of the fire crackling in the fireplace and even the toilet flushing!

Front View

The front of the townhouse is pretty but a little basic looking but that’s okay because all the fun is on the other side!

There are some nice window features and window boxes and the entrance to the house is through the white door you can see to the side.

There are a total of 9 windows on the front in a few different shapes and sizes and you can see the open air balcony on the third floor where Barbie can relax in her hot tub!

Bedroom

Next up is the bedroom which is somewhat minimalistic although it does have a nice four poster bed complete with some girly pink drapes and a pink and black frill bed sheet.

That’s pretty much it for furniture in the room although there is a blue hamper for clothes in the corner.

Bathroom

Barbies bathroom is pretty nice, it’s got a shower, but no bath. When Barbie is in the shower you can hear her humming!

There are lots of little accessories in this room from a cute toothbrush holder to little decorations.

One thing I found puzzling was why, with five rooms to choose from did Barbie decide to hang a photo of her friends/sisters in the bathroom above the toilet?

Rooftop

The rooftop is a small area with a hot tub.

This is where Barbie and her friends can enjoy the view of the city skyline.

But watch out for any pesky neighbors who will be no doubt nosing out their windows!

This is Barbies second townhouse and it is pretty much the same house as the pink one, in different shades of pink.

You will notice differences like different color bed clothes, shower door and a black flat screen tv instead of white.

Some of the accessories are different, for example there is no clothes hamper in the bedroom in this one but there are some handbags and so on. One large difference is the hot tub is blue not pink!

Each house has plenty of accessories no matter which you choose, it all depends on which you prefer.

Here are both the townhouses for you to choose from. They are pretty similar with only minor differences but if you prefer Barbies four poster bed in black or her flat screen in white or even the color of the floor, then you will have to make the tough decision. Do you want the pink townhouse or the other pink townhouse! Remember both come will all the furniture and lots of accessories.
