Buffy Vampire Slayer novels
Buffy the Vampire Slayer Novels
Did you know that there’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer tie-in novels that fill in some of the gaps in the seasons with what what might have been? There are. Some of these novels are good and very enjoyable, some of them are okay, some of them are real stinkers.
If you’re a real The Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan you’ll read every one of them.
If you are a Buffy the Vampire Slayer fan like me you will have seen all of the Buffy shows and the movie multiple times. And of course the same is true with the series Angel – binge watching there too.
What is it about this story of a Teenage vampire Slayer and her and her group of friends that is so fascinating to me? Or our fascination with a tortured, broody vampire with a soul. I don’t know, watching true love true love. Is always fun and especially if there’s werewolves vampires and all kinds of other creepy-crawlies. There’s been several there have been midi Vampire series in the last few years but none of them had the intelligence, pathos and humor as Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
There just weren’t enough of the episodes made to satisfy a true fan.
The Buffy the Vampire slayer comic followed Buffy, Willow the witch,Spike and Angel the Vampires with a soul, the rest of the gang after the series ended.
The novels created more stories during the actual seasons of the series. Many of them were around the time of season 3 when Willow was just began becoming a a serious witch, when she was with still dating Oz does sometime werewolf and when she and when Buffy was truly developing her Slayer abilities.
The novels actually go through many series and give a richness to the life of a Buffy fan.
Buffy and Angel are for Adults too!
Buffy and Angel remain Popular Because of the depth of the story matter and the excellent acting
Buffy and Angel were not teeny-bopper shows. They have lasted this long with a rabid fan base because they talk about true hero’s journeys.
What would happen iif Giles became a vampire?
This was one of the most fun series for me. What would happen if Giles became a vampire? Could Buffy beat a foe who knew all her ways?

Wicked Willow
When a sweetheart goes bad
Honestly, my favorite character was Willow the witch. Bright, nerdy and shy. Until she fell in love and her lover was accidently killed.
This series about the good girl who went bad just brought more goodies to the fan.
Wicked Willow I: The Darkening (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)Wicked Willow II: Shattered Twilight (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Wicked Willow III: Broken Sunrise (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
The Slayer Faith’s Tale
Buffy was not the only Slayer in the series. There was Kendra.
And then there was Faith. ” I can think of nothing more dangerous than a rogue Slayer,” Giles says when she goes back.
This book, which is one of the best written of the series , gives us background to why she might just be so dangerous..

What would Buffy Do?
Buffy as a Spiritual Guide
If you love Buffy and Angel like I do , you will love the romance and the action. But the series goes far beyond that – into spiritual truths and quests and into some deep questions of being a person if you decide to live as a hero in your own life.
This nonfiction book gives real insight into the series.
Using Buddhist , Biblical and other texts as a basis – the author beautifully makes us wonder as we deal with big questions – “What would Buffy do?”
