Happy Holidays! Did You Know There is a Christmas Bunny?

Have you ever asked your kids to give you their wish list for Christmas? I did. One time and one time only. Why? You won’t believe my reason. Or maybe you will. If you have kids then you’re probably used to “impossible requests” that kids make.

Well this is my personal story. Once upon a time, I asked my kids to make a wish list for the Christmas holiday and give them to their father and me, as we were going shopping. I never taught my kids about Santa Claus. I told them plainly that mom and dad were buying them gifts and that even though their gifts were on the list it is possible they won’t receive them because their parents just didn’t have the money.

I reviewed the lists of expected gifts for Christmas. I don’t know. I guess one of my kids thought their request was reasonable and mom and dad should have no problems fulfilling their wish. One of my kids asked for a bunny rabbit.

LOL. Do you have any idea how hard it was to find a bunny rabbit during the Christmas holiday season? That was 40 years ago. PRE-Amazon era.

These days if you want a bunny for Christmas, just go shopping online. Not only will you find a bunny rabbit, you’ll find a bunny rabbit family! LOL. Now the only problem you’ll have is trying to decide which bunny gift you should get! You might even find some bunny gifts you want for yourself.
