Industrial Chic Decor

If you have ever wondered how to create industrial chic decor, keep in mind that it often includes rustic decor, reclaimed wood, primitive items, and metal work. This is one of my favorite design styles. You can do a lot with industrial chic, too, to make it your own. Whether you lean more towards metals or woods, or you like a combination of both, you can create a rustic oasis at home.

What is farmhouse decor? It can be country, rustic, shabby chic, or primitive. Think of what an early farmhouse might have included. Stoneware jars, Mason Jars, reclaimed wood tables and other furniture, etc. And some subjects often included in farmhouse decor include roosters, pigs, horses, and other farm animals, as well as roses, checkered prints, plaid, etc.

Shabby Chic Decor

Have you ever wondered what shabby chic decor really is? The easiest way for me to explain it is country with a Victorian elegance. Think ruffles and lace mixed with weathered woods, stoneware, some metals, etc. I think of white when I think of shabby chic, but turquoise, pink, soft yellow, and other colors are often seen in this design, too.
