Cubicle Decorating Ideas
If you’ve never decorated your cubicle for Christmas, or at all for that matter, start small. You don’t want to stress out about it along with the work stress you probably already have.
A small tree is always good to replace an office plant above your cubicle. A cute idea would be to hang paperclips and other office supplies from it.
Garland is a great way to add decoration to the top of your cubicle, too!
Garland for Your Cubicle
Christmas garland can be used to decorate the top of your cubicle, your desk, your office chair, and so on. It’s available in many varieties, and really adds a festive touch to your work space.

Cubicle Christmas Decorating Ideas
Put a collection of Santa’s all throughout your cubicle. Or reindeer, or ornaments, or grinches: pick one collection theme and go crazy. Make it look like Christmas exploded inside your cubicle.
Hang candy canes over the top of your cubicle and around the perimeter. And don’t forget snow. But rather than using the well-known snow “cotton” go for the faux snow. You can find it at most Christmas shops or gift shops, as well as online, and it’s the little balls of who-knows- what that expands to 10 times its size when water is added.
Just place the snow in a small canvas dog bowl, the kind you can fold up and put in your backpack when walking long distances with your dog. Decorate that bowl with green felt or fake tree garland; place it under your Christmas tree and “voila!” – you have a winter wonderland!
Last but not least, a word of cautionary advice – your cubicle co-worker may not appreciate your Christmas creativity and may ask for a reassignment of cubicles for the following year. No need to take offense, this isn’t for everybody. And if your cubicle mate was the office Grinch? All the better!
