Iced Sweet Tea Recipe

Serves: 8 Prep Time: 5 Total Time: 15


6-7 Tea Bags (your choice)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 cups boiling water
6 cups cold water


Place tea bags and sugar into 2 cups of water and bring to a boil.
Turn off heat, and allow tea to steep for 3-5 minutes.
Pour boiling water into a pitcher that has been filled with 6 cups of cold water.
Stir mixture, refrigerate and enjoy.
Serve cold over ice.
Makes 2 quarts, which equals 8 1-cup servings.

*For parties and guests, you can garnish with a lemon or orange wedge or a cinnamon stick.
