eureka tv showEureka…on SyFy

O little town of  Eureka.  Finally back to finish its forth season on SyFy.  In my opinion, Eureka is one of the coolest shows on cable.  Starring Colin Ferguson as Sheriff Jack Carter, Salli Richardson-Whitfield as Allison Blake, beautiful and intelligent director of Global Dynamics, Joe Morton as Henry Deacon, Eureka’s resident scientist/superbrain, and Erica Cerra as Deputy Jo Lupo, the sheriff’s trusty and sexy second in command.  As a fan of the show, I am so happy to finally see its return for the summer.  If you are unfamiliar with Eureka, but are a fan of science fiction, you owe it to yourself to start from the beginning and watch Eureka: season 1.  Give it a few episodes, and it will start to grow on you.  Eureka is a funny, smart, and dramatic original series from the geniuses and SyFy network that will surely find itself a place on your list of favorite shows.

The plot of Eureka boils down to this.  Decades ago, President Truman, with the help of Albert Einstein, founded a little town called Eureka.  They hid it way out in the Pacific Northwest.  An idyllic town that would house and support our nation’s greatest scientific minds and their children.  A town that would never appear on any map.  So you put two or three generations of “absent-minded professor” types in a small picturesque town in the middle of nowhere Pacific Northwest, and strange and epic situations begin to emerge.  Welcome back Eureka!!!
