There are many ways you can nurture your child’s creativity and in doing so will provide them with much more than just the ability to express themselves with art, you will also be helping them develop learning skills that will last a lifetime.

I have caught up by giving myself another childhood type opportunity. I hope you will provide your child with the most healthy of art opportunities so they will have the advantages I didn’t have. I hope this page will help you get started.

The process… Not the Product

I have heard it said nurture the process …

When you are providing art ideas to kids you will want to share the process and not spend too much time talking about what should be created in the process. Remove all judgement. Don’t comment about red grass and yellow skys. It is ok if we color outside the lines. It really really is.

If you need to step back and take a look at the bigger picture that is ok. I think somewhere there was a training that told us wrong. But it is really ok to change things so children can develop now and have a great time in the process.
