Greek Meatballs Recipe (Keftedes)
My husband was adopted into a Greek family and grew up loving Greek food. His Aunt Sarah used to cook wonderful dishes for him such as stuffed grape leaves, Greek cookies, pastitso, and keftedes (Greek Meatballs). Fortunately, I was able to get some of her recipes and now I make them for our family. These are recipes passed down to Sarah from her mother, Stravula, who immigrated here from Greece. Keftedes is one of the comfort foods that my family loves. Here is Aunt Sarah’s/Stravula’s recipe for Greek Meatballs. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
