Hook, Line and Sinker is a Deep Haven Novella written by Susan May Warren.

Abigail has majored in Greek at the Christian college she attended and now has taken a job in the fall of tutoring the others students.

Ross is a senior in the same college and they have been in love with each other since they were kids though neither one realizes it.

Abigail dated Ross’s older brother Scotty who died in a skiing accident. Everyone assumed Abigail was in love with him and instead she had dated him to be near Ross.

Ross didn’t think he had a chance since he thought she was in love with Scotty. Ross tried to take over areas that Scotty had left including The New Lifers. The group was almost bankrupt and Ross was trying to come up with ways to raise money for them.

Abby has a group call Sojourniers but they don’t have very many people.

When Ross comes up with an idea to raise money by having a fishing tournament at the lake Abby’s group goes along. Abby just has to beat Ross!

When Ross hooks himself with a fishhook in the back Abby comes to the rescue. She also catches the biggest fish of the tournament.
