Get Organised for Better Time Management!

Be Organized and Focused for Better Time Management

Before starting any task, make sure you have rid yourself of any and all distractions. No peeking at new e-mails, answering phones, listening to television, and work where no conversations are being held.

Then, a classic time management tip is to start with the toughest job first while you’re fresh and clear, and leave the easier job for after. Set rewards for yourself when certain jobs are accomplished.

A small treat or splurge for easier jobs, and nice rewards for bigger ones. Work time, plus pleasure time help you keep a healthy, happy balance.

When you are busy trying to finish a project and you get a personal call, you need to be honest with them, and tell them you will have to call back later.

Try to ignore these kinds of interruptions until you have the time. When we put off the work needed to be done by spending time on the phone, we wind up rushed, tired, and unprepared for the more important things.

It’s harder to give your attention to people when you’re thinking of the things that need to be done. Let them know you can give them better quality time once you have finished.

Regret for wasted time is more wasted time. ~ Mason Cooley~

Timing Is Everything

When scheduling or planning your day, consider the most convenient times for each task.

If you prefer to get bad tasks done first, then get them out of the way so you can finish the rest.

Of course with children, you would want to make important phone calls, or appointments when its quiet, or when children aren’t home.

Just make sure that it’s your choice, so you can make the most of your day.

Get Organised and You Will Save Time and Be More Successful in Your Goals!

Using planning and organization skills will result in more goals reached in less time. If youre anything like me, and you make the same mistake more than once, use that to your benefit.

Like they say, learn from your mistakes. Plan a new strategy to reduce wasting time. Using time wisely and efficiently is the key to your success. When you make a plan and organize your tasks, you will understand better how to manage your time.

If your time is managed properly, it will surprise you how much extra time you have to get more done. Then the boss will be very impressed with you and your productivity and maybe you’ll get a raise.

Motivation Helps Better Time Management Every Day

Always stay motivated.

If you are compelled to seeking help in spiritual ways with your motivation, or inspirational speakers knowledge to inspire you, then do what you need to.

Always take the time to write every morning or evening you goals for that day or the next. Doing this can help short term goals for everyday, and long term goals seem easier to break down into shorter steps.

When you have done a great job, put in the extra time, accomplished your challenges, or have results of progress from your work, reward yourself. Even if no one else does.

Know you have done well. Doing this can help you work harder for the next one. Maybe you can get yourself something new or take a day off, and do what you want to do.

Feel good about reaching your goals.

Time Wasters and How to Eliminate Them Immediately

There’s a quote by author Bernard Clive, that goes, “We don’t manage time, we manage activities within time.” He hit the nail on the head with this quote.

More Management Results in More Time!

Entertainment:

How much TV and/or movies take up your time?
Do you go to clubs or bars a lot?
Are these things helping you achieve your goals?

Activities:

Are you reaching any of your goals while doing them?
Are they beneficial?

School:

Too much homework? Do you procrastinate with it?

Self:

Are you taking enough time to devote to you?

Time yourself.

Set a certain percent of time for each activity, and try to do it in that time frame.

See what you can accomplish in 15-20 minutes, or if you find yourself wasting those amounts.

Don’t let things or people distract you. Focus.

Time is but the stream I go a-fishing in.

~ Henry David Thoreau ~

How much motivation do you have?

Being motivated is a big tool on your road to success with time management.

Many things attribute to lack of motivation, like lack of exercise, unhealthy eating habits, smoking, caffeine, overeating, and more.

You also need to have the ability to conform, and cope with changes. These things are important to work on, so you can improve skills that will help you reach your end goals.

Make this a new positive improvement that can only make you feel better about yourself, and your individuality.

Some projects can be done over time. Finalizing certain kinds of projects all at once, is not realistic.

Set 15-20 minutes to work on one of those you have been trying to avoid. Just make sure you do all you can in that time.

One must learn a different… sense of time, one that
depends more on small amounts than big ones.

~ Sister Mary Paul ~
