Swarovski Animal Figurines – Collectible Bits of Light and Shimmer

Swarovski animals are one of the best ways to display the wonder that is Swarovski.

Swarovski crystals are man-made gems manufactured with care and love in Austria since the late 1800’s. Far beyond simple cut-glass, these crystals gleem like diamonds and have been used in jewelry, chandeliers, and special clothing. Dorothy’s ruby slipper in the Wizard of Oz was made of Swarovski crystal and you have undoubtedly seen the crystal in many of the grand movies of the 1940’s and 1950’s.

The collectible animal figurines are some of the nicest ways the crystals can be used.

The figures have been classified by the company using various names – over time you might have heard “Silver Crystals, Lovlots, Crystal Moments”, and other names. Currently the figurines are classified into the Swarovski Characters – which include most of the affordable Kris Bears, Happy Ducks, Swarovski Disney characters and many of the other characters you might find. There is also a category called Swarovski Symbols, where you will find figures from astrological to seasonal.

Swarovski Art and Statement figurines are grand pieces – heirloom quality and very special.

You can find Swarovski figures in almost all the animals you can imagine for yourself – and they are delightful gifts as well.

Most of us will only have a few Swarovski items in our lives, even the most dedicated collectors might have a few hundreds.

But when Victoria Swarovski married it was completely different – her wedding gown alone had 500,000 Swarovski crystals!

The crystal heiress married her property investment boyfriend Werner Mürz in a phenomenal wedding in June of 2017.

Crystals were incorporated everywhere you could imagine – especially in her many dresses. Along with the wedding dress she had a stunning red party dress. There were even crystals on her shoes!
