The God Pocket is a small book packed with a great idea. It encourages you to talk to God about how to help others and how much to give God in order to do so. Then you set this amount aside in a special pocket or place and designate that it now belongs to God. You carry it with you as you go about daily life and when God nudges you that there is someone that needs help you give them the money in the God pocket. You make sure they realize it is from God and that you are just carrying it for Him.

Bruce Wilkinson gives 7 steps to prepare to partner with God for a financial miracle. He tells how there is a surprising plan from God to replenish your resources when you give.

The God pocket has as much to do with God’s deep desire to bless you as it does with His desire to bless others through you. God’s delivery agents are refreshingly ordinary folks. They aren’t spiritual giants, gifted speakers,brilliant Bible scholars, or even unusually nice. God wants to put a face on giving-and the face He has in mind is not yours or mine but His. With your yes, God can and will do wonders. You will not only witness these wonders; you will deliver them.

I really enjoyed this little book and so many times I have felt the nudge to do something for others. Doing it is a wonderful feeling.
