The sticks start off glowing in 4 different colors but as the difficulty level goes up you can unlock new colors and light patterns as you move on to harder tricks. This is a one person toy. Children ages eight and older who enjoy skill and physical activity may want to check out the twister rave sticks. For safety precautions make sure the area you are playing in is clear of people and objects. And even though these do light up it is not recommended that you play in total darkness.
