As we are talking about the ash catcher, you will find the biggest difference between the silver and the gold models here. While the silver models have ans ash catcher in a plate like shape, it won’t be able to hold that many ash and some charcoal bits can even fall off. The ash catcher in the gold and platinum weber grills are more shaped like a pot, which makes them holding much more ash and being much more safe regarding dropping charcoal bits and possible fire hazard.

The vents on all Weber grills are rust resistant and easy to move without the need to use a hammer. Also does every Weber grill feature glass-reinforced nylon handles which prevents you from burning your fingers when touching the handles.

The durable all weather wheels make it easy to move the Weber charcoal grill around, even when they are hot.
