WordPress’s new Twenty Ten Theme is not effective for custom websites.

Twenty Ten is too basic for most blogs. Choose a different template.

I found out the hard way that WordPress’ new default template Twenty Ten has CSS flaws and is only good for blogs that do not entail custom websites. Although WordPress itself is decent for custom websites, web designers starting a custom site with it should revise the CSS that comes with Twenty Ten or at least find a more suitable theme.

I notice that most people use WordPress for blogs only and leave the full web sites to content management systems such as Drupal, Joomla, or Butane. Just like these content management systems, WordPress makes it easy to design custom websites without HTML or CSS knowledge, but for any custom design, I suggest to stop using Twenty Ten immediately or take its CSS and revamp it for your needs.

I am looking forward to your comments and to hear if you had luck with Twenty Ten or if you have had issues.

If you are using WordPress for your website, you are best off searching for a different WordPress theme as there are thousands.
