Zero Pitcher Water Filter Pitchers

Why Am I Writing about the Zero Water Pitcher for Filtering Water?

I finally found a water filtration pitcher that meets my needs, but I might never have discovered this particular filtration water pitcher if it were not for one of my grandsons. I moved to a new place, and my two grandsons visited for the first time. I love the fact that both of my grandsons primarily drink water because water is the very healthiest drink for kids and adults alike, but one of my grandsons mentioned that my tap water did not taste right. I had already been researching some water filters before this, but reviews were mixed online, and I had not been anxious to purchase one of them. It was my son that suggested a brand that I had not heard about, the Zero brand. There were several positive reviews about this one, and with the endorsement of my son as well, I decided to give it a try.

Which Size of Pitcher Should You Choose for Filtering Water?

Some considerations for choosing the container size:

* How much water will you need to use at one time?
* Will you use this filtered water for purposes other than drinking? I use it for my dog and cat water bowl and for watering my plants.
* Do you need something more lightweight for lifting to pour or do you prefer the push-button spout for dispensing the water?

I chose the 10-cup option for myself, because ten cups is enough for several glasses of water, but is not excessively bulky. I refill the pitcher as I go, so that there is almost always enough water for myself, my companion animals, my plants, and my occasional visitors. The 10-cup pitcher allows me to pour from the spout or use a push-button spiggot on the opposite side of the pitcher to dispense water directly without having to lift it to pour.

If you need something lightweight and a little easier to lift, choose the 7-cup option, but if you need one that holds more water, explore the larger pitcher options.

  1. I am convinced!

The zerowater filtration system sounds like a winner. And I want to drink more water because I want to lose weight.

My only hesitation is that the filter might take too much out of the water, depleting it of electrolytes.

I would be interested in seeing a review of electrolyte powders that we could add as well for the perfect total beverage.
